Tamoxifen Citrate falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Cesium interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cesium concomitantly with other drugs that prolong the QT interval may increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias and death.
Taking cesium can prolong the QT interval on electrocardiogram (ECG). In many cases, cesium-induced QT prolongation has led to serious adverse effects, including torsades de pointes, cardiac arrest, and death.

Here's the heart of it: cesium itself can mess with your heart's electrical timing, causing what we call QT prolongation. Tamoxifen, while best known as a breast cancer medicine, can also nudge that same QT interval. When you stack two things that both stretch out that timing, the worry is a dangerous rhythm called torsades de pointes, which can lead to fainting, cardiac arrest, or worse.

This isn't about cesium changing your tamoxifen levels. It's about both touching the heart in the same risky way. Honestly, cesium has no proven benefit and has caused deaths on its own, so it isn't something I'd recommend at all. Please talk with your oncologist or pharmacist before taking any supplement alongside your tamoxifen.

What is Cesium?

Cesium chloride is a mineral salt sold as an alternative cancer therapy ('high pH therapy'), but there is no reliable scientific evidence that it treats cancer or any other disease. It can cause dangerous heart rhythm problems and even death, so it should not be used. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any supplement, and never use cesium in place of proven medical care.

About Tamoxifen

What Is Tamoxifen Used For?

Brand names: Nolvadex, Soltamox

Tamoxifen is used to treat estrogen receptor-positive metastatic breast cancer in both women and men, and as follow-up (adjuvant) therapy after surgery for early-stage breast cancer in women. It also reduces the occurrence of cancer in the opposite breast when used as adjuvant therapy.

In women with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS — an early, non-invasive breast change) following surgery and radiation, tamoxifen lowers the risk of developing invasive breast cancer. It is also approved to reduce the risk of breast cancer in women who are at high risk but have not yet been diagnosed. Both Tamoxifen Citrate tablets and Soltamox oral solution share these indications.
