American hellebore, also known as Veratrum viride, contains alkaloids that can potentially prolong the QT interval on an electrocardiogram (ECG). This effect is similar to that of certain medications known as QT-prolonging drugs, which can increase the risk of a serious heart rhythm disorder called torsades de pointes (source: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4728534/). Combining American hellebore with other drugs that cause QT-prolongation can increase the risk of adverse effects.

American Hellebore Overview
Veratrum viride, commonly known as green false hellebore and American hellebore, is a perennial herbaceous plant native to North America. The applicable part of this plant for medicinal purposes is the rhizome and root. It contains toxic alkaloids, including veratrine, which can cause severe poisoning if ingested. The toxins are thought to be able to be absorbed through unbroken skin as well. Isolated alkaloids in Veratrum viride include O-acetyljervine, cevadine, cryptenamine, cyclopamine (11-deoxojervine), cycloposine, germitrine, germidine, jervine, muldamine, protoveratrine (A&B), veratramine, veratridine, and veriloid. Despite its toxicity, Veratrum viride has been used in traditional medicine for its potential medicinal properties, although these uses are not supported by scientific evidence. Commercial dietary supplement products containing American hellebore are typically homeopathic.
Ivosidenib Overview

Ivosidenib is used to treat a certain type of acute myeloid leukemia (AML; a type of cancer that begins in the white blood cells) that has returned or that has not improved after previous treatment(s). Ivosidenib is also used alone or in combination with azacitidine (Onureg) to treat a certain type of AML in some adults older than 75 years of age as a first treatment. Ivosidenib is also used in adults who have already received previous treatment(s) to treat a certain type of cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) that has spread to nearby tissues or other parts of the body. Ivosidenib is in a class of medications called IDH1 inhibitors. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells.
