Glofitamab-gxbm falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INHIBITORS — the group Evodia interacts with.

Theoretically, CYP3A4 inhibitors might increase the levels and clinical effects of evodia.
Animal research shows that concomitant administration of ketoconazole, a known CYP3A4 inhibitor, with the alkaloid constituents of evodia significantly increases the area under the curve (AUC), maximum concentration (Cmax), and half-life of these constituents.

Here's the thing to keep in mind with this pairing: the interaction on file runs from the drug toward the supplement, not the other way around. It flags that CYP3A4 inhibitors could raise evodia's levels. But glofitamab (Columvi) is a large antibody-based cancer therapy, not a small pill your liver breaks down through CYP3A4. Antibodies like this one aren't cleared by those liver enzymes, so glofitamab is very unlikely to meaningfully change evodia's levels the way something like ketoconazole might.

Also worth noting: this concern comes only from animal and lab work, so it's theoretical. Still, glofitamab is a serious infusion drug with real risks like cytokine release reactions, and mixing in an unstudied herb during cancer treatment isn't something to do on your own. Please run Evodia past your oncology team or pharmacist first.

The evodia constituent rutaecarpine is metabolized by CYP1A2.

Here's the thing to keep in mind: this interaction runs in the direction of the evodia, not your medication. Columvi (glofitamab-gxbm) is a lab-made antibody, a biologic that is broken down like other proteins in the body, not through the liver's CYP1A2 enzyme. So it is unlikely to change how evodia behaves. The concern on file is the reverse, that a CYP1A2 blocker could let evodia build up. Since glofitamab isn't really a CYP1A2 blocker, this pairing is mostly theoretical.

The bigger issue is that glofitamab is a serious cancer therapy, and mixing in herbal products with unknown effects isn't wise. Please check with your oncology team or pharmacist before using evodia.
