Lemborexant falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Evodia interacts with.

Theoretically, evodia might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that evodia extract inhibits hepatic CYP3A4. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Your sleep aid Dayvigo (lemborexant) leans heavily on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to be cleared from your body. In lab dish studies, evodia appears to slow that same enzyme down. If that held true in people, your body would break lemborexant down more slowly, so more of it could hang around. That might mean a stronger or longer effect, with things like next-morning grogginess, drowsiness, dizziness, or trouble concentrating when you wake up.

Here's the reassuring part: this has only been seen in test tubes, never confirmed in actual people, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Still, I'd mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, just to be safe.
