Methyclothiazide, Pargyline falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Fermented Milk interacts with.

Your Eutron combines two blood pressure lowering medicines: methyclothiazide (a water pill) and pargyline (an older MAO inhibitor). Both already work to bring your blood pressure down. The thinking here is that fermented milk products like kefir or certain yogurt drinks may nudge your systolic (the top number) blood pressure down a little on their own. Stacked on top of your medicine, the two together could push your pressure lower than intended.

If that happens, you might feel lightheaded, dizzy, or faint, especially when you stand up quickly. To be fair, this is a theoretical concern based on how things work, and a normal serving of fermented milk is unlikely to cause trouble for most people. Still, since pargyline is an MAO inhibitor with its own food cautions, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
