The combo you're asking about (Percodan) pairs aspirin with the opioid oxycodone. The piece that matters here is the aspirin, since it already thins the blood by making your platelets less sticky. Flaxseed oil may do a little of the same thing, so taking both together could, in theory, nudge your bleeding risk a bit higher.

This is mostly a theoretical concern based on how these work, plus a few small studies, so it's not something to panic over. Still, keep an eye out for easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or cuts that take longer to stop. Food amounts of flax are unlikely to matter much; concentrated oil supplements are more worth mentioning. Check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding it.
