Here's the thing to know about Cangrelor (Kengreal): it's a strong IV antiplatelet medicine given in the hospital, usually during a procedure to open up a blocked heart artery (a stent placement). Its whole job is to keep your platelets from clumping so a clot doesn't form. Flaxseed oil works in a mildly similar direction, since some small studies suggest it can make platelets a little less sticky and lengthen bleeding time.

Stacking the two could, in theory, add to that effect and nudge up your bleeding risk (think easy bruising, bleeding gums, or oozing at the IV or catheter site). Honestly, this is a theoretical concern based on how they work, and food amounts of flax are unlikely to matter much. Since cangrelor is given in a hospital setting, just let your care team know about any flaxseed supplements you take.
