Here's the simple version: repaglinide already works by nudging your pancreas to release more insulin, which lowers your blood sugar. Fo-ti has been reported to have its own mild blood-sugar-lowering effect, so stacking the two together could, in theory, push your sugar down further than expected. That might show up as shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a fast heartbeat, or feeling foggy and irritable, the usual signs of a low.

I want to be honest about the evidence here, though. This concern is theoretical, based on how Fo-ti behaves in lab and animal studies, not on strong human proof. It doesn't mean you'll definitely run low. If you do want to try Fo-ti, check your blood sugar a bit more closely at first and loop in your pharmacist or doctor before starting. Don't change your repaglinide on your own.
