Here's the thing to keep in mind with this pair. Brexanolone (Zulresso) is already a strongly sedating medicine. In fact, it's given as a slow IV infusion in a monitored hospital setting precisely because it can cause heavy drowsiness, dizziness, and even sudden loss of consciousness in some people. Galphimia glauca, based on animal and lab work, appears to have its own calming, sedative effect.

So putting them together could, in theory, pile sedation on top of sedation, leaving you more drowsy or out of it than expected. I'll be honest that this concern is theoretical and based on how the plant behaves, not on real cases with Brexanolone. Still, since you'll be monitored during treatment, please mention any supplement like this to your care team first.
