Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CNS DEPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Nalbuphine
Nalbuphine falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Galphimia Glauca interacts with.
Galphimia glauca extract seems to have sedative effects.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version: nalbuphine (Nubain) is a strong pain medicine given by injection, and one of its main effects is making you drowsy and relaxed. Galphimia glauca appears to have its own calming, sedative effect. So the concern isn't about how your body breaks the drug down. It's that two things pulling in the same direction can add up, leaving you more sleepy, dizzy, or foggy than you'd expect, and in some cases breathing can slow more than it should.
I'll be honest, this caution is theoretical, based on how each one acts rather than strong human studies. Still, since nalbuphine is usually used around procedures or for real pain, it's worth mentioning the herb to your doctor or pharmacist beforehand so they can keep an eye on you.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Nalbuphine page
“Nalbuphine (Nubain) is an opioid pain reliever, which by itself raises the stakes of this page. Nearly four in five of the ingredients listed deepen sedation, layering their own drowsiness onto a medicine that already slows the brain and can slow breathing.”
