Lemborexant (Dayvigo) is already a sleep medicine, so its whole job is to calm brain activity and help you nod off. Gotu kola may have its own mild calming effect by acting on GABA receptors in the brain, the same general braking system many sedatives use. Put the two together and they could potentially add up, leaving you more drowsy than you bargained for.

In real life that might mean extra grogginess, dizziness, or a foggy, hard-to-wake feeling the next morning. I'll be honest with you though: this concern is theoretical, based on lab studies rather than reports in people, so we don't know how big a deal it really is. To be safe, chat with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them, and never adjust your Dayvigo on your own.
