Hemp agrimony is a traditional European herb that has been used for digestion, colds, and as a general tonic, but there is very little reliable human research to support these uses. More importantly, the plant can contain pyrrolizidine alkaloids that may harm the liver, so most experts do not recommend taking it internally. About Infliximab Injection

What Is Infliximab Injection Used For?

Brand name: Remicade

Infliximab injection is used to treat several serious inflammatory conditions. It treats moderately to severely active Crohn's disease (including fistulizing disease) and ulcerative colitis in adults, and in children ages 6 and older. It also treats moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis (in combination with methotrexate), ankylosing spondylitis (a type of spinal arthritis), psoriatic arthritis, and chronic severe plaque psoriasis in adults.

Infliximab is intended for patients whose disease has not responded well enough to conventional therapies. It is available under the brand names INFLECTRA, Remicade, and Renflexis, all given by intravenous (IV) infusion.
