Here's the thing to know with Axotal (which combines aspirin with butalbital): the aspirin part already thins your blood a bit by keeping platelets from clumping together. Higenamine, at least in animal studies, seems to do something similar. So when you stack the two, the worry is they could add up and make you more prone to bleeding or bruising, things like nosebleeds, bleeding gums, easy bruises, or a cut that takes longer to stop.

I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. It's a theoretical concern based on lab and animal work, not solid human studies, so it's not a guaranteed problem. Still, since higenamine products are poorly labeled and rough on the heart, I'd run it past your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
