Aspirin, Hydrocodone falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Higenamine interacts with.

Theoretically, higenamine might increase the levels and clinical effects of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
In vitro research shows that higenamine inhibits CYP2D6 enzymes. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the wrinkle with this combo: the hydrocodone part of your pain reliever is a prodrug. Your body uses an enzyme called CYP2D6 to convert hydrocodone into hydromorphone, which provides a good chunk of the pain relief. Lab studies suggest higenamine can block that same enzyme. In theory, that could mean less conversion to the active form, so you might get weaker pain control rather than more.

I'll be honest, this is only seen in test-tube research, not in real people, so the actual effect is uncertain. On top of that, higenamine is a heart stimulant with shaky labeling, which is its own concern. Before mixing the two, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor.

Your pain medicine here is a combination of hydrocodone (an opioid) and aspirin. The hydrocodone part is handled in the body partly by an enzyme called CYP3A4. In a test-tube study, higenamine slowed that enzyme down by about 21%. In theory, that could let a bit more hydrocodone build up, which might mean more of its usual effects like drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, or slowed breathing.

I want to be honest though: this was only seen in lab dishes, never in real people, so the concern is mostly theoretical. What worries me more is higenamine itself, which acts like adrenaline and can raise your heart rate and blood pressure. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

The product you're asking about pairs aspirin with hydrocodone, a narcotic pain reliever. The piece that matters here is the aspirin, because it already thins the blood a little by keeping platelets from clumping together. Higenamine, at least in animal studies, seems to do something similar, so stacking the two could theoretically add up and make you bruise more easily or bleed a bit longer than usual.

I want to be honest that this is a theoretical concern based on lab and animal data, not real-world human cases, so I wouldn't panic over it. Still, given that higenamine has its own heart and blood pressure worries and is poorly labeled, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
