Nebivolol Hydrochloride, Valsartan falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Higenamine interacts with.

Theoretically, higenamine might increase the levels and clinical effects of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
In vitro research shows that higenamine inhibits CYP2D6 enzymes. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the thing to know about Byvalson, which combines nebivolol (a beta-blocker) with valsartan. The nebivolol part is cleared mainly by a liver enzyme called CYP2D6. In a test-tube setting, higenamine appears to block that enzyme, which could in theory let nebivolol build up in your body. If that happened, you might notice a slower or more pounding heartbeat, lower blood pressure, dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling unusually tired.

There's a twist worth mentioning: higenamine itself acts like a stimulant on the heart, sort of the opposite of what nebivolol is doing, so the two can pull against each other. Honestly, this enzyme effect has only been seen in the lab, never confirmed in people. Still, with a heart and blood pressure medicine, I'd run any higenamine product past your pharmacist first.
