Here's the simple version: Cilazapril (Inhibace) is an ACE inhibitor that lowers your blood pressure. Horny goat weed, in laboratory studies, also seems to nudge blood pressure downward. Stack the two together and the worry is that your pressure could drop a little too far, leaving you feeling lightheaded, dizzy, or faint, especially when you stand up quickly.

I want to be honest about the evidence, though. This blood-pressure-lowering effect from horny goat weed has only shown up in test tube and animal research, not in actual people. So it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Still, since this involves your blood pressure, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding the supplement, and keep an eye out for dizziness if you do.
