ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS
Why this applies to Bosentan
Bosentan falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Kiwi interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the situation with kiwi and bosentan (Tracleer). Some research shows that eating kiwi can nudge blood pressure down a little. Bosentan works differently, it opens up the narrowed vessels in your lungs to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, but it can lower your overall blood pressure too. So in theory, pairing the two could add up and leave you feeling lightheaded, dizzy, or faint, especially when you stand up quickly.
Honestly, this one is mostly a paper concern. It's based on how these things work, not on real cases of people getting into trouble. Eating kiwi as a normal food is very unlikely to cause problems. If you take concentrated kiwi supplements or notice dizziness, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor.

- Heart and cholesterol health
Kiwi is a nutritious fruit that is rich in vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants, and it is generally safe to eat as a food. About Bosentan
What Is Bosentan Used For?
Brand name: Tracleer
Bosentan is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) — high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs. In adults, it helps improve the ability to exercise and slows how quickly the disease gets worse.
In children aged 3 years and older with idiopathic (no known cause) or congenital (present from birth) PAH, bosentan is used to lower resistance in the lung blood vessels, which is expected to improve exercise ability. Tracleer is one brand approved for both adults and pediatric patients with PAH.

Bosentan Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Bosentan as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Kiwi — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
