Your medication is a combo pill: methyclothiazide is a thiazide-type water pill, and deserpidine helps lower blood pressure. The thiazide part works by making your kidneys pass more salt and water to ease blood pressure. Here's the thing about lovage: it acts as a mild aquaretic, meaning it nudges your body to make more urine too. On paper, taking concentrated lovage supplements alongside your water pill could pull in the same direction and shift your fluid balance.

To be clear, this concern is theoretical and based on how lovage behaves, not on solid human studies. Still, watch for signs like extra dizziness, lightheadedness when standing, or feeling unusually drained. Cooking-amount lovage is unlikely to matter; supplement doses are where I'd be cautious. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding it.
