Antithymocyte Globulin falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Mace interacts with.

Here is the short version: antithymocyte globulin (Thymoglobulin) is a powerful infused medicine that already calms down your immune system, usually given in the hospital around transplants or for certain blood conditions. The concern with mace is that some lab and animal studies hint its compounds (like the lignans in its oil) might also dampen immune activity. Stacked together, the worry is that your immune system could be pushed down a little more than intended.
I want to be straight with you, though: this is a theoretical interaction based on animal data, not real human cases. Sprinkling mace on food is very unlikely to matter. Concentrated mace supplements are a different story, and since this drug is given in a supervised setting, it is easy to just ask your transplant team or pharmacist before adding any mace product.

Mace is the lacy red covering of the nutmeg seed and comes from the same tree as nutmeg. It is mostly used as a cooking spice and in traditional medicine for digestion, but there is little solid human research to support its health uses. In normal food amounts it is generally safe, but large doses can be toxic, so use it as a spice and check with your pharmacist before taking concentrated supplements.
