Percodan combines aspirin with oxycodone, and it's the oxycodone part that matters here. Oxycodone is an opioid that already slows down your brain and body, which is why it can make you drowsy, foggy, or slow your breathing. Motherwort has been reported to cause its own mild sedation, so pairing the two could, in theory, add up and leave you more sleepy or sluggish than you'd expect.

I want to be honest with you: this concern is theoretical, based on how the herb behaves rather than strong human studies. Still, with an opioid on board, I'd play it safe. If you notice extra drowsiness, dizziness, or trouble staying alert, that's worth a call to your pharmacist or doctor before you keep combining them.
