First and most important: I'd urge you to steer clear of oleander entirely. It's a poisonous plant, and there's no safe self-use dose. With your medication, there's an added reason to be cautious. Tenoret 50 (and similar combos) contains chlortalidone, a water pill that can lower your body's potassium level.

Oleander carries heart-acting chemicals much like digoxin. When potassium runs low (which chlortalidone can cause), the heart becomes more sensitive to those chemicals, so toxicity can hit at a smaller amount. That can mean a dangerously slow, fast, or irregular heartbeat, nausea, dizziness, or fainting. This warning is based on how these drugs work rather than solid studies, but the stakes are high. Please don't use oleander, and check with your pharmacist or doctor about any concerns.
