Immunosuppressant drugs include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), and other corticosteroids (glucocorticoids).

Here's the idea behind this pairing. Diroximel fumarate (Vumerity) works by calming down an overactive immune response in MS, so it's grouped with the immune-modulating drugs. Picrorhiza, on the other hand, seems to gently stimulate the immune system. In theory, pushing the immune system in the opposite direction could blunt how well your MS medication works, which might mean more flare-ups or breakthrough symptoms over time.

I want to be honest about the strength of this concern: it comes from lab and animal research, not real-world MS patients, so it's more theoretical than proven. Still, since staying steady on your MS treatment matters, I'd run any Picrorhiza supplement past your neurologist or pharmacist before starting it rather than guessing.
