Aminoglutethimide falls under ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS — the group Purple Nut Sedge interacts with.

In vitro, purple nut sedge dose-dependently inhibits acetylcholinesterase (AChE). Theoretically, concurrent use of anticholinergic drugs and purple nut sedge might decrease the effectiveness of purple nut sedge or the anticholinergic agent.
Some anticholinergic drugs include atropine, benztropine (Cogentin), biperiden (Akineton), procyclidine (Kemadrin), and trihexyphenidyl (Artane).

Here's the honest picture with purple nut sedge and aminoglutethimide. In lab dishes, purple nut sedge seems to block an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase, which gives it a mild anticholinergic-opposing effect. The concern on file is that this could tug against drugs grouped as anticholinergics and either soften their effect or soften the herb's effect.

That said, aminoglutethimide is really an adrenal hormone blocker used for certain hormone-driven cancers and Cushing's, and it isn't a classic anticholinergic. So this pairing fits the category loosely at best, and the evidence is only test-tube and animal level, not human. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but since aminoglutethimide is a serious medication, please run any supplement past your oncologist or pharmacist first.
