Rauwolscine + Cyclosporine
Cyclosporine brand names: Neoral, Gengraf, Sandimmune, Ciclosporine, Cequa, and others.
Rauwolscine has a moderate interaction with Cyclosporine. Theoretically, taking rauwolscine with seizure threshold lowering drugs might increase the risk of adverse convulsant effects.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS
Why this applies to Cyclosporine
Cyclosporine falls under SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS — the group Rauwolscine interacts with.
In animal research, intraperitoneal rauwolscine lowered the seizure threshold level of the drug metrazol.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the connection worth knowing about. Cyclosporine can, in some people, make the brain a little more prone to seizures (it's one of those medicines that may lower the seizure threshold). Rauwolscine, a stimulant alkaloid found in fat-burner and pre-workout products, may also nudge the brain in that same direction. Stacking the two together could, in theory, raise the chance of a seizure.
I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. The concern comes only from animal lab research, not from people, so it's theoretical. Still, rauwolscine can also spike your heart rate and blood pressure and trigger anxiety, which isn't ideal on cyclosporine. Please run this by your pharmacist or transplant team before combining them.

About Rauwolscine
What is Rauwolscine?
- Fat loss and weight management
- Bodybuilding and physique support
- Energy and stimulant effects
- Athletic performance
- Libido support
Rauwolscine (alpha-yohimbine) is a stimulant alkaloid closely related to yohimbine that is marketed mainly in fat-burning and pre-workout supplements. Human evidence for its benefits is very limited, and it can raise heart rate and blood pressure and cause anxiety, so it should be used with caution and is not recommended for people with heart conditions, anxiety, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
About Cyclosporine
What Is Cyclosporine Used For?
Brand names: Neoral, Gengraf, Sandimmune, Ciclosporine, Cequa, Verkazia, Vevye
Oral cyclosporine (such as Gengraf, Neoral and the modified generic capsules and solution) is used to prevent organ rejection in kidney, liver and heart transplants. It is also used for severe active rheumatoid arthritis that has not responded well enough to methotrexate. It is also used for severe, hard-to-treat plaque psoriasis in adults with normal immune systems.
Sandimmune capsules and injection, used with corticosteroids, prevent organ rejection and treat chronic rejection in people previously treated with other immune-suppressing medicines. Eye products have different uses. Restasis, Restasis MultiDose and generic cyclosporine eye emulsion increase tear production in dry eye linked to eye inflammation. Cequa increases tear production in keratoconjunctivitis sicca (dry eye). Vevye treats signs and symptoms of dry eye disease. Verkazia treats vernal keratoconjunctivitis in children and adults.

Cyclosporine Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Cyclosporine as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Rauwolscine — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
