Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS
Why this applies to Minoxidil
Minoxidil falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Rehmannia interacts with.
Animal research shows that rehmannia may have hypotensive effects. Laboratory research shows that formulations of dried and processed rehmannia root inhibit angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE).
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the short version: when you take oral minoxidil for blood pressure, it's already a strong vasodilator that opens up your blood vessels. Rehmannia has shown its own mild blood-pressure-lowering activity in lab and animal studies, partly by blocking the ACE enzyme. Stack the two together and, in theory, your blood pressure could drop a little more than expected.
What that might feel like is dizziness, lightheadedness when you stand up, a faster heartbeat, or swelling. I want to be honest though: this is based on test-tube and animal research, not solid human studies, so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. Don't change either one on your own. Just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up before combining them, especially since minoxidil already runs strong.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Minoxidil page
“American hellebore heads the concerns for anyone taking minoxidil (Loniten, Rogaine), because even small amounts of its alkaloids lower blood pressure on their own, a dangerous match with one of the most potent pressure-lowering drugs prescribed. It is one of four major-rated entries among the 139 supplements and herbs on record, and t…”

About Rehmannia
What is Rehmannia?
- Kidney and adrenal support
- Anemia and blood building (traditional)
- Inflammatory conditions
- Allergies
- Fatigue and aging-related complaints
Rehmannia is a root used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine, often to 'tonify' the kidneys and support energy or blood health. Human evidence for most modern uses is limited, so it should be viewed as unproven rather than reliable. Talk with a pharmacist or doctor before trying it, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or take other medicines.
About Minoxidil
What Is Minoxidil Used For?
Brand names: Loniten, Rogaine, Minoxidil
Minoxidil tablets are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) — specifically in patients who haven't responded well to other blood pressure medications. They are a powerful option reserved for difficult-to-control cases.
Topical minoxidil products — including solutions, sprays, gels, and foams from many brands — are used to regrow hair on the top of the scalp (called the vertex). Products labeled for men and for women may differ; for example, Bosley MD Regular Strength for Women and Dizop Minoxidil Topical Gel are each labeled for their specific intended users.

Minoxidil Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Minoxidil as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Rehmannia — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
