Bendroflumethiazide falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Rehmannia interacts with.

Theoretically, rehmannia might increase the risk of hypotension when taken with antihypertensive drugs.
Animal research shows that rehmannia may have hypotensive effects. Laboratory research shows that formulations of dried and processed rehmannia root inhibit angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE).

Bendroflumethiazide is a thiazide water pill (diuretic) that lowers blood pressure by helping your body get rid of extra salt and fluid. The concern here is simple addition: Rehmannia may have its own mild blood-pressure-lowering effect, so pairing the two could push your numbers down further than you expect.

If that happens, you might notice dizziness, lightheadedness, feeling faint when you stand up, or unusual tiredness. I want to be honest, though, this is mostly based on lab and animal studies, not solid human research, so it stays theoretical. Food-style amounts are unlikely to be an issue, but concentrated supplements are harder to predict. Before adding Rehmannia, check with your pharmacist or doctor, and keep an eye on your blood pressure.
