Same in Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
When used intravenously short-term during the third trimester of pregnancy. In two small-scale trials, SAMe 800 mg daily was used intravenously for 14-20 days during the third trimester of pregnancy for cholestasis. No adverse effects were observed. However, use of SAMe in pregnancy should only be considered when benefits clearly outweigh the potential risks. There is insufficient reliable information available about the use of SAMe at higher doses, for extended periods of time, or during the earlier trimesters of pregnancy.

Some Ribavirin Aerosol Products Have a Food Rule — Same Should Not Break It
At least one FDA label for a product containing Ribavirin Aerosol says to take it with food. If you take Same on an empty stomach out of habit, keep them separate — and take Ribavirin Aerosol with a meal where the label says to.

Food instructions belong to the product, not the ingredient: two Ribavirin Aerosol products can carry different directions, and extended-release forms often differ from immediate-release ones.
