Here's the thing to keep in mind: your aspirin with codeine product contains codeine, which is an opioid that already makes many people feel drowsy, foggy, or relaxed. Skullcap is thought to calm the nervous system too, possibly by nudging the same GABA pathways. So when you stack the two, those calming effects can pile up. You might feel more sleepy than usual, slower to think, dizzy, or unsteady on your feet.

I want to be straight with you, though. This concern comes mostly from animal and lab studies, not strong human research, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Still, since both can slow you down, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, especially before driving.
