Strontium + Testosterone Undecanoate
Testosterone Undecanoate brand names: Andriol, Aveed, Jatenzo, Kyzatrex.
Strontium has a moderate interaction with Testosterone Undecanoate. Theoretically, androgens might reduce the excretion of strontium, potentially increasing its effects and adverse effects.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANDROGENS
Why this applies to Testosterone Undecanoate
Testosterone Undecanoate falls under ANDROGENS — the group Strontium interacts with.
A small clinical study suggests that treatment with androgens such as testosterone, nandrolone, oxandrolone, and oxymetholone for 5-6 weeks might decrease urinary strontium excretion. The clinical significance of this interaction is unknown.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist of this one: it's testosterone that may nudge how your body handles strontium, not the other way around. The thinking is that testosterone (including the undecanoate form you take by mouth or injection) might cause your kidneys to hold onto a little more strontium instead of flushing it out in urine. If strontium builds up slightly, its effects, both good and bad, could be a touch stronger.
I want to be honest about how soft this evidence is. It comes mostly from a small study and lab work, so we really don't know if it matters in everyday life. Your testosterone dose and how it works for your low-T won't change. If you're taking a strontium supplement for bone health, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on things.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Testosterone Undecanoate page
“The supplement list for testosterone undecanoate (Jatenzo, Aveed, Kyzatrex, Andriol) deserves real attention before you combine it with much of anything, and the seven major-rated entries are where I would start. About Strontium
What is Strontium?
- Bone health and osteoporosis
- Reducing fracture risk
- Tooth sensitivity (in some toothpastes)
- Supporting bone density
Strontium is a mineral that has been studied mainly for bone health and osteoporosis. The prescription form (strontium ranelate) showed benefit for fracture risk but carries serious heart-related safety concerns, while the over-the-counter supplement form (strontium citrate) has much less evidence. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using it, especially if you have heart disease or are at risk for blood clots.
About Testosterone Injection
What Is Testosterone Injection Used For?
Brand names: Andriol, Aveed, Jatenzo, Kyzatrex
Testosterone injections replace testosterone when the body makes too little or none. The label describes this in men with primary hypogonadism (a problem in the testicles) and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (a problem with the pituitary or hypothalamus signals).
Testosterone Enanthate Injection is also used to stimulate puberty in carefully selected boys with clearly delayed puberty. It may be used secondarily in some postmenopausal women with advanced, inoperable breast cancer that has spread to the bone, under an oncologist’s direction. Aveed is for hypogonadism in men and is not for use in women.
