The combo pill you're asking about pairs aspirin (a blood thinner that keeps platelets from clumping) with hydrocodone (an opioid pain reliever). The concern here is really about the aspirin part. Lab studies suggest swallowroot may also slow platelets down, so stacking it on top of aspirin could, in theory, add to that blood-thinning effect.

Practically, that might mean easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or cuts that take longer to stop. I want to be honest though: this warning comes only from test-tube research, not from studies in people, so it's a theoretical concern rather than a proven one. Food or pickled amounts likely matter little, but concentrated supplements are a bigger question. Check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
