Hay prepared from dried sweet vernal grass contains an anticoagulant, dicoumarol, which has been associated with fatal hemorrhages in animals. Theoretically, taking dried sweet vernal grass might cause additive effects and side effects with drugs having anticoagulant or antiplatelet properties.

Combunox is a combo of ibuprofen (an anti-inflammatory pain reliever) and oxycodone (an opioid). The piece that matters here is the ibuprofen, since like other NSAIDs it can thin the blood a little by making platelets less sticky, and it can irritate the stomach lining.

Sweet Vernal Grass, especially when dried, contains coumarin that can turn into dicoumarol, a blood-thinning compound. The concern is mainly theoretical and based on pharmacology, not solid human studies, but pairing the two could add up and raise your risk of bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach bleeding (think black stools or unusual belly pain). A casual whiff or flavoring amount is unlikely to matter, but concentrated supplements could. Please run this by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
