Here's the simple version: tragacanth is a gummy fiber that swells into a thick gel when it hits water. That gel can grab onto pills sitting in your stomach and gut, which might change how much of your Brexafemme (ibrexafungerp) actually gets absorbed. The concern works both ways, it could slightly lower the amount your body takes in or shift the timing.

I want to be honest, this is theoretical and based on how the fiber behaves, not on real studies with this drug. Ibrexafungerp is the active medicine itself (not a prodrug), so the worry is mainly getting too little, which could mean your yeast infection isn't fully cleared. To stay safe, it's reasonable to space them apart, taking tragacanth 30 to 60 minutes after your dose. When in doubt, run it by your pharmacist.
