Here's the thing to keep in mind with this combo. Uzara naturally contains cardiac glycosides, the same family of heart-active compounds found in certain heart drugs. The senna part of your Perdiem is a stimulant laxative, and if it's used too often or in higher amounts than directed, it can flush potassium out of your body over time. When potassium drops low, those cardiac glycosides in Uzara can become more potent and harder on the heart, which can show up as palpitations, an irregular heartbeat, nausea, or feeling unusually weak or dizzy.

To be honest, this is a theoretical concern based on how these ingredients behave, not something proven in studies. The psyllium fiber itself isn't really the issue. Occasional, label-directed use is the safer route. Before pairing these regularly, please check with your pharmacist or doctor, especially if you have any heart concerns.
