Here's the simple version: insulin aspart (Fiasp) already pushes your blood sugar down, and white mulberry leaf may nudge it down a little too by slowing how fast you absorb sugar from a meal. Stack those two together and the worry is that your numbers could dip lower than you expect, what we call hypoglycemia. That can show up as shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling lightheaded.

I want to keep this in perspective, though. This concern is theoretical, based on how mulberry works rather than strong human studies, and an occasional cup of mulberry tea is unlikely to cause trouble. Concentrated supplement capsules are where I'd pay more attention. Don't change your insulin on your own. Check your blood sugar a bit more often and chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding the supplement.

What Is Insulin Aspart (rDNA Origin) Injection Used For?

Brand name: Fiasp

Insulin aspart is used to improve blood sugar (glucose) control in people with diabetes mellitus. It is approved for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes in adults, and for diabetes mellitus in pediatric patients.

Insulin Aspart Protamine and Insulin Aspart Mix 70/30 is a pre-mixed product that combines a rapid-acting and an intermediate-acting insulin aspart. It is approved to improve blood sugar control in adult patients with diabetes mellitus. It is not recommended for treating diabetic ketoacidosis, and because its ratio of rapid-acting to intermediate-acting insulin is fixed, it does not allow for separate mealtime versus background dose adjustments.
