Here's the thing to keep an eye on. Lyumjev (insulin lispro-aabc) is a fast-acting mealtime insulin that lowers your blood sugar after you eat. White mulberry leaf works in a different way, by slowing how quickly sugar gets absorbed in your gut, but it also nudges blood sugar downward. When you stack two blood-sugar-lowering effects together, the worry is that your numbers could drop too low.

This concern is mostly theoretical, based on how each one works rather than strong studies, so I don't want you to be alarmed. Still, watch for signs of low blood sugar like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or feeling confused, and check your glucose more often if you add a concentrated mulberry supplement. A cup of tea now and then is far less likely to matter than capsules. Please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before changing anything, including your insulin dose.
