These probiotics are generally well tolerated in healthy people. That said, there's a real caution for anyone who's seriously ill, immunocompromised, or in the hospital: rare cases of bacterial bloodstream infection (bacteremia) have been reported with B. breve and B. longum, mostly in critically ill infants and young children.

If you fit that profile, talk to your doctor before using this. Minor digestive side effects like bloating, flatulence, and abdominal discomfort have been reported with probiotics in general, though they haven't been specifically documented with every strain in this blend.
