This product contains 2 active ingredients: Setria L-Glutathione, a naturally occurring antioxidant your body makes, and a phospholipid complex designed to help your body absorb the glutathione more easily. The capsule itself is made from methylcellulose, a plant-based inactive ingredient.

The evidence for glutathione's benefits is mixed. It shows possibly effective promise for protecting nerve damage (neurotoxicity) caused by the chemotherapy drug cisplatin, but for everything else listed — nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, Alzheimer disease, athletic performance, and cataracts — the evidence isn't established well enough for us to rate it.
