We do have case reports of allergic skin reactions — one person developed contact dermatitis when honeysuckle was applied to skin, and another had a confirmed allergic drug eruption after taking 30 grams of honeysuckle granules over 24 hours, which cleared when they stopped and took antihistamines and steroids for two weeks.
