HelloPharmacist Scorecard of The Circulation Solution by Health Resources
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
The Circulation Solution contains one active ingredient: nattokinase, an enzyme derived from fermented soybeans. The other ingredients are inactive — soybean oil, gelatin, glycerin, soybean lecithin, glycerin fatty acid ester, and beeswax — which make up the softgel capsule itself.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence we hold doesn't establish that nattokinase is effective for any of its promoted uses, including angina, atherosclerosis, cancer, cardiovascular disease, or chronic fatigue syndrome. All carry a rating of insufficient reliable evidence.
That doesn't mean it doesn't work — it means the data we have isn't strong enough to say either way.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Nattokinase is generally well tolerated short-term, but its blood-thinning effect means you should be cautious if you have any bleeding risk. Rare cases of bleeding, including a serious brain bleed, have been reported.
It can also cause allergic reactions in people sensitive to natto or its components — symptoms can include throat and airway swelling. Not enough safety data exists during pregnancy, so the safety data advises against it.
Safety while breastfeeding is unknown, so avoid it to be safe. Talk with your doctor or pharmacist if you're pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking this, double-check with your pharmacist if you take blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel, others) or blood pressure medications — both carry Moderate interaction risk with nattokinase.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This product is for people curious about nattokinase for circulation support, but the science doesn't yet establish it works for that. If you take any blood thinner, antiplatelet drug, or blood pressure medication, check with your pharmacist first — the interaction risk is real.

The Circulation Solution by Health Resources Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
The Circulation Solution by Health Resources contains nattokinase, which does interact with medications.
The most serious concern is with blood thinners and antiplatelet drugs like aspirin, warfarin, and clopidogrel. Nattokinase has blood-thinning effects of its own, and combining it with these medications raises your bleeding risk — there's even a case report of brain bleeding in someone who took nattokinase alongside low-dose aspirin.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
It can also increase the effect of blood pressure medications (antihypertensive drugs). If you're on a drug to lower your blood pressure, nattokinase might push it down further, raising the risk of low blood pressure (hypotension).
Altogether, these interactions span 287 individual medications. Before you start this product, use the medication checker below with your exact prescriptions — especially if you take any blood thinner, antiplatelet drug, or blood pressure medication.
