CNS DEPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Aspirin, Ethoheptazine, Meprobamate
Aspirin, Ethoheptazine, Meprobamate falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Adrue interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the piece to pay attention to: Equagesic is a combination product, and one of its ingredients, meprobamate, is a tranquilizer that calms the nervous system. Adrue has been used traditionally as a mild calming agent, and in animal studies it made sedative drugs work much longer. So the worry here is simple addition: putting a calming herb on top of a calming medicine could leave you extra drowsy, foggy, dizzy, or unsteady. The aspirin and ethoheptazine parts aren't the concern for this particular interaction.
I'll be honest that this is based on lab and animal work, not solid human studies, so it's more theoretical than proven. Still, since meprobamate already causes sedation, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two, especially before driving.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aspirin, Ethoheptazine, Meprobamate page
“Equagesic combines aspirin with two sedating pain relievers, ethoheptazine and meprobamate, which means supplements can go wrong in two directions at once, and this list earns genuine care before you mix in any of them. Most of the entries add to aspirin's blood-thinning effect and raise bleeding risk, while a large second group deepen…”

Adrue (Cyperus articulatus) is a sedge whose rhizome has long been used in traditional medicine for nausea and other stomach complaints, and as a mild calming agent.
