Here's the gist: Albiglutide (Tanzeum) is an injectable that already nudges your blood sugar downward to manage type 2 diabetes. In animal studies, agrimony has shown its own mild blood-sugar-lowering effect. So the worry is simple addition. Stack agrimony on top of albiglutide and your sugar could theoretically dip lower than intended, leading to hypoglycemia. Watch for shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a racing heart, or confusion.

I want to be honest with you, though: this is a theoretical concern based on lab and animal work, not human trials, so the real-world risk is probably small. Still, if you'd like to try agrimony, give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up first and keep an eye on your glucose readings.
