Here's the simple version: vildagliptin (Galvus) already lowers your blood sugar by helping your body release more of its own insulin after meals. In animal studies, agrimony has shown a mild blood-sugar-lowering effect of its own. So the worry is that stacking the two could push your sugar a little too low (hypoglycemia). With vildagliptin that might show up as shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a fast heartbeat, or feeling confused or unusually hungry.

I want to be honest about the strength here: this concern is theoretical and based on animal data, not solid human studies, so it may not amount to much in real life. Still, if you'd like to try agrimony, please loop in your pharmacist or doctor first and keep an eye on your home glucose readings for any lows.
