Here's the idea behind this one. Your Vumerity (diroximel fumarate) works by calming down inflammation and dialing back parts of your immune system to protect your nerves in MS. Alfalfa, on the other hand, contains compounds that may gently stimulate the immune system. So in theory, alfalfa could push in the opposite direction and make your MS medication a little less effective at keeping symptoms and relapses under control.

I want to be honest with you though: this concern comes from lab studies and a few case reports, not from strong human research, so it's more of a cautious flag than a proven problem. Food amounts of alfalfa sprouts are unlikely to matter much; concentrated supplements are the bigger question. Before you start an alfalfa supplement, please run it by your pharmacist or neurologist first.
