Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) + Brentuximab Vedotin
Brentuximab Vedotin brand name: Adcetris.
Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) has a moderate interaction with Brentuximab Vedotin. Theoretically, BMPEA might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Brentuximab Vedotin
Brentuximab Vedotin falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) interacts with.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA inhibits CYP3A4 by up to 37%.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the idea behind this one. Brentuximab vedotin (Adcetris) releases a chemo payload called MMAE, and your liver clears that piece using an enzyme called CYP3A4. In lab dishes, BMPEA appears to slow that enzyme down by about a third. If that held true in the body, the chemo could clear more slowly and stack up, which might mean rougher side effects like nerve tingling or numbness in the hands and feet (neuropathy), low blood counts, more infections, nausea, or fatigue.
I want to be honest, though: this is only a theory based on test-tube data, not real patient cases. Still, BMPEA is a hidden amphetamine-like stimulant that regulators warn against, and mixing any unknown stimulant with cancer treatment is a bad idea. Please run this by your oncology team before going near it.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Brentuximab Vedotin page
“Every entry on this page traces back to a single enzyme. Brentuximab vedotin (Adcetris), an IV treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma and certain other lymphomas, carries a chemotherapy payload the body clears through CYP3A4, and I would treat this list with real care.”

About Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea)
What is Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea)?
- Weight loss
- Pre-workout energy
- Athletic performance
- Appetite suppression
- Mental focus
Beta-methylphenethylamine (BMPEA) is a synthetic stimulant chemically similar to amphetamine that has been found in some weight-loss and sports supplements, often without being clearly listed on the label. It is not an approved or well-studied dietary ingredient, and regulators have warned that it may carry real cardiovascular risks. Because of safety concerns and the lack of human research, it is best avoided.
About Brentuximab Vedotin Injection
What Is Brentuximab Vedotin Injection Used For?
Brand name: Adcetris
Adcetris (brentuximab vedotin) treats several types of lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph system. Most uses involve cancer cells that carry a marker called CD30.
The label covers classical Hodgkin lymphoma, systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma, other CD30-expressing peripheral T-cell lymphomas, primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma, CD30-expressing mycosis fungoides, and relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma. Each use has its own setting, such as untreated disease or disease that has come back. Some uses require combining it with other medicines.
