Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) + Chlorpropamide
Chlorpropamide brand names: Diabinese, Chlorpropam.
Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) has a moderate interaction with Chlorpropamide. Theoretically, BMPEA might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP2D6 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Chlorpropamide
Chlorpropamide falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) interacts with.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA strongly inhibits CYP2D6.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist. BMPEA has been shown in lab studies to block an enzyme called CYP2D6. The theory is that this could slow the breakdown of medications that rely on that enzyme, letting them build up in your body. Since chlorpropamide is a regular (active) drug and not a prodrug, higher levels would mean a stronger blood-sugar-lowering effect.
For chlorpropamide, that could show up as low blood sugar (shakiness, sweating, confusion, dizziness), and this drug is long-acting, so a low can linger. Honestly, though, this is a theoretical, lab-only concern, not something proven in people. The bigger worry is that BMPEA is an unapproved amphetamine-like stimulant that may stress your heart. I'd skip it and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

About Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea)
What is Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea)?
- Weight loss
- Pre-workout energy
- Athletic performance
- Appetite suppression
- Mental focus
Beta-methylphenethylamine (BMPEA) is a synthetic stimulant chemically similar to amphetamine that has been found in some weight-loss and sports supplements, often without being clearly listed on the label. It is not an approved or well-studied dietary ingredient, and regulators have warned that it may carry real cardiovascular risks. Because of safety concerns and the lack of human research, it is best avoided.

Chlorpropamide Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Chlorpropamide as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
