Here's the gist for mometasone (Elocon cream or Asmanex inhaler). Mometasone is a corticosteroid that your body partly clears using a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. The concern on file is that BMPEA may block that enzyme a little, which in theory could let more mometasone build up and linger.

I want to be honest about how soft this signal is. It's theoretical, coming only from lab dish studies showing BMPEA slowed CYP3A4 by about a third, with no human data. On top of that, mometasone used on your skin or inhaled into your lungs barely reaches the bloodstream, so a meaningful interaction is unlikely. Bigger picture, BMPEA is an unapproved amphetamine-like stimulant with real heart risks, so I'd steer clear of it and check in with your pharmacist.

Mometasone Furoate topical products are used to relieve the inflammation and itching (pruritus) that come with corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses — a broad category of skin conditions that respond to steroid treatment.

Mometasone Furoate Topical Solution (Lotion) is specifically indicated for these skin conditions in patients 12 years of age and older. Mometasone Furoate cream may be used in adults and in children 2 years of age and older.
