Hydrocodone, Pseudoephedrine falls under SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS — the group Biofeedback interacts with.

There is some concern that electroencephalogram (EEG) biofeedback might lower the seizure threshold in some patients. Theoretically, combining EEG biofeedback with seizure threshold-lowering drugs might increase the risk of seizure.
Some drugs that lower the seizure threshold include anesthetics (propofol, others), antiarrhythmics (mexiletine), antibiotics (amphotericin, penicillin, cephalosporins, imipenem), antidepressants (bupropion, others), antihistamines (cyproheptadine, others), immunosuppressants (cyclosporine), narcotics (fentanyl, others), stimulants (methylphenidate), theophylline, and others.

Let me put this one in plain terms. The cough and cold combo you're asking about pairs hydrocodone (an opioid) with pseudoephedrine (a decongestant). The concern on file is mostly theoretical: a specific type of biofeedback called EEG (brainwave) biofeedback might, in some people, slightly lower the threshold at which a seizure can happen. Opioids and stimulant-like decongestants can nudge that threshold a touch too, so stacking them could add up.

For most folks this is a low-level worry, and the evidence here is limited. But if you have a seizure history, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them. They can tell you whether the type of biofeedback you're using even involves brainwaves. Don't stop either one on your own.
