Here's the simple version: Kazano combines two diabetes medicines (alogliptin and metformin) that already work to bring your blood sugar down. Brewer's yeast, especially the kind that's rich in chromium, may have its own mild blood sugar lowering effect. Stack the two together and your sugar could drop a little lower than expected. Some research in people with diabetes does back this up, so it's worth knowing about.

If your numbers dip too low, you might feel shaky, sweaty, dizzy, hungry, or get a pounding heartbeat. A small amount of brewer's yeast as a food is unlikely to cause trouble, but taking it as a daily supplement is the bigger concern. Don't change anything on your own just keep an eye on your readings and check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding it regularly.
