Here's the situation with cilostazol (Pletal) and Bridelia. Cilostazol is an antiplatelet medicine, meaning it makes your platelets less likely to clump and form clots so blood flows more easily to your legs. In animal studies, Bridelia bark extract also slowed down clot formation, by roughly 62 percent in one experiment. So you'd essentially have two things nudging your blood in the same direction.

Put together, the worry is a higher chance of bleeding or bruising, things like nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or bruises that show up easily. Keep in mind this is theoretical, based on lab and animal work, not human studies, so it isn't a sure thing. Still, before you combine them, please check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
