Calcium D-glucarate + Apomorphine Hydrochloride
Apomorphine Hydrochloride brand name: Kynmobi.
Calcium D-glucarate has a moderate interaction with Apomorphine Hydrochloride. Theoretically, calcium D-glucarate might increase the clearance of drugs that undergo glucuronidation.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
GLUCURONIDATED DRUGS
Why this applies to Apomorphine Hydrochloride
Apomorphine Hydrochloride falls under GLUCURONIDATED DRUGS — the group Calcium D-glucarate interacts with.
The calcium D-glucarate metabolite, D-glucaro-1,4-lactone, inhibits the enzyme beta-glucuronidase, reducing deconjugation of glucuronides in the intestine and thereby reducing reabsorption of the drugs.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the short version on pairing calcium D-glucarate with your Kynmobi (apomorphine). Your liver tags apomorphine with a sugar-like molecule (glucuronidation) so your body can get rid of it. Calcium D-glucarate blocks a gut enzyme called beta-glucuronidase, which means less of that tagged drug gets reactivated and recycled back into your system. In theory, that could let a bit more apomorphine clear out, possibly making your dose feel slightly less effective during an 'off' episode.
I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical concern, mostly based on lab thinking rather than real-world studies in people taking apomorphine. Since you rely on this medicine to move and walk when you're 'off,' please run any supplement past your neurologist or pharmacist before starting it.

About Calcium D-glucarate
What is Calcium D-glucarate?
- Detoxification support
- Hormone balance
- Estrogen metabolism
- Liver support
- General wellness
Calcium D-glucarate is a supplement form of a natural compound found in fruits and vegetables that is promoted for 'detoxification' and helping the body clear excess hormones. Human evidence for these benefits is very limited, and most research comes from laboratory or animal studies. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor before using it, especially if you have a hormone-related condition.
